After long talks with Loughborough Council we have negotiated a year long trial of all year round fishing. This will begin on the 6th of May 2025
There will be a few additional rules that must be adhered to.
1. No night fishing from 15 th March until 16 th June. Strictly dawn to dusk.
2. No fishing off peg 3 at the bottom end due to proximity of swans nest.
3. No casting to spawning fish.
4. As this is a trial all hooked birds must be reported to bailiffs via Facebook.
It is up to everyone to ensure rules are adhered to as if we fail with this trial it will not be repeated.
