Rules

Anglers must carry with them either a valid season permit or day ticket, tickets are not sold on the bank. Anyone without a permit on their person will be asked to leave. Anglers must also hold a current rod licence
Season tickets run from June the 16th until the following June the 15th. Our canal fisheries are open all year. All other fisheries are closed between March the 15th and June the 15th inclusive. No eel or trout fishing on our waters during the closed season
Night fishing is permitted on the river and at Dishley Pool by season ticket only, day tickets are strictly dawn till dusk. There is no night fishing on the canals. Stonebow pond is open from 7am until dusk, anglers should not arrive before this time and should park responsibly so as not to upset residents.
Fishing is not permitted along the nature reserve situated on the east bank at Dishley Pool
No fires on any waters
No dogs
No digging of banks or cutting back of branches
Take all of your rubbish home with you, anyone found to be leaving rubbish will be banned immediately
Abide by the countryside code. Close all gates after you and where a padlock is fitted ensure that the combination is scrambled after locking. Do not obstruct gateways
All fish must be returned to the water, anyone found to be removing fish will be reported for prosecution
The use of a maximum of three rods is permitted providing that you do not obstruct other anglers and cast only within the boundaries of your swim
The use of bloodworm and joker is only permitted from the 1st of November until March the 14th and on canals only

You must use a suitably sized landing net for the fish which you expect to catch, an unhooking mat should be used when fishing for specimen sized fish such as barbel, pike, tench and carp, do not lay fish on a hard surface
